Dress my monkey

My 13 year old neighbor has a little monkey named Penelope. Penelope has been to 4countries and 6 states and has been a family member for years. A few days ago she asked me, "Will you make a little dress for my monkey?" (If I only had a nickel for every time somebody asked me that). Last night was the night. I had her pick some fabric and then we set to do a test dress from a fabric remnant. Here is the final result. I've actually never made anything for a body this small and it presented a few issues but worked out fine in the end. (Although I won't be opening an etsy shop for monkey dresses any time soon). I always wonder what I'll end up doing with my little fabric remnants. Who knew that the left over lemons would end up this way?

You are more brave then me. I've been putting off making my daughter doll clothes for several months now. I was given this doll clothes pattern several months ago and still haven't tackled it. I think it's the tight places like arm holes that worry me.
