| For Christmas this year we had a serious budget which I'm pretty sure wasn't unique to our little family. In addition to outside gifts, we drew names and each had to make a present for your Christmas person. I was very surprised with boy #1 who wanted to make a make up kit for his little sister. I took him down and let him choose the fabrics that he wanted to use and here is what he chose. We bought a chapstick and some princess jewely and the kit was a hit. For the first time since I've had children, I observed that boy #1 finally understood the joy of giving. We hope to continue this tradition every year. |  |

that's an awesome tradition. we were actually planning to start that same tradition next year.
