6 - Caramel Corn

I just love corn, cornbread, creamed corn, on the cob, and popped. This is my favorite carmel corn recipe and the one I use for our family.
  • 4 Qt popped corn
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C light corn syrup
  • 1/2 C butter or margarine
  • 1/2 t baking soda
put popped corn in a LARGE bowl bring all other ingredients, except soda, to a boil, take off of heat. Stir in soda, pour over corn mixture, spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 5 mins, stir and bake for 5 more minutes. Cool and break apart.

This is perfect! I was just looking for an easy, trusted, tried-and-true caramel corn recipe.

And you're not alone in your love of corn. Our government loves it too. Which is why farming it is so heavily subsidized.
