I dragged my poor little family on a trip to the super craft store about 1/2 hr from our house. After a somewhat disappointing trip through the clearance department (you win some you lose some right?) we loading up to come home. My husband and I realized that we were actually quite close to the pick-your-own farm in the area so we headed over to pick whatever was there. The result...

Our little helpers were pretty zealous in their peach picking so we ended up with A LOT of peaches at different stages of ripeness. The solution was Day 1- peach cobbler. I used Paula Deen's recipe which I had heard about. My husband votes it as his favorite peach cobbler, but who would vault a recipe after only one attempt....I feel a cobbler trial coming on. Day 2- fresh peaches on vanilla ice cream...mmm. Day 3 (today) peach jam. I just used the recipe on the pectin package. I still have about 20 peaches left so we'll see what happens tomorrow.
